Shop: A small gift shop can be found at the palace entrance.
Tea Room/ Restaurant: The licensed restaurant is situated in the Medieval Undercroft. As members of Taste of the West, the Palace restaurant supports local growers and suppliers. Additional Terrace cafe.
WC: Full WC facilities by the restaurant.
Parking: Use the city centre car parks. The Bishop’s Palace is a short walk from all central car parks.
Seats and benches: Plentiful seating is scattered around the grounds. A picnic area can be found in the arboretum.
Average visitor duration: 1 to 3 hours.
Accessibility: The gardens are relatively flat with wide smooth pavements running throughout. A stairclimber can be provided within the palace.

Transport:
Rail: The nearest railway station is Bath Spa or Castle Cary. A bus link can be taken too Wells.
Bus: A variety of buses run to Bishop’s Palace which is a 10 minute walk from the bus stop. Disability Access on the 375/376.
